NEW! Room Doctor Captain's Beds. For years now customers have been asking us to provide a quality captain’s bed design with various under bed options. Not only have we done so, but we have increased the functionality and versatility with some key design improvements.
The unique feature of this bed is the ability to offer not one, not two, but FOUR bed elevations. The Expedition has two, super heavy-duty, solid wood end panels. The perimeter is constructed of 3 layers of ¾” thick boards and the solid face inlay is made of ¾” thick tongue & groove southern yellow pine (not thin plywood like most others). As is the case with all of our beds, a foundation or boxspring is NOT required because we use (12) strong southern yellow pine bed slats to provide a solid foundation. This bed frame is super-strong & durable, eco-friendly, AND we back it with a 10-Year Warranty.
